El-Kouf National Park

edit

  • ... that the El-Kouf National Park (pictured storks in the park) in Libya visited by 100,000 tourists in 1980 and 300,000 in 1985 is important from the conservation and tourism aspects?

  • Isn't just about every national park important from conservation and tourism aspects? Also, I'm not sure if it's entirely accurate to draw a connection between the number of tourist visits in 1985 to its importance today. How about somethinglike the following:
ALT1: ... that about 90% of the plants found in Libya have been recorded growing in El-Kouf National Park (pictured storks in the park)?

Thanks. AlT1 Hook is fine.--Nvvchar. 15:36, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
  • OK, somebody else will need to take a look, then. Chamal TC 04:01, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Date, length good, spotchecked for paraphrasing. The 90% number needs an inline citation per the Rules if we're going to use Alt1. Also, the (pictured storks in the park) should probably read (storks in the park pictured). The Interior (Talk) 22:40, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Ref fixed. The image does not provide specific information as to where it was taken as the photographer has not indicated it.--Nvvchar. 09:59, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks Nvvchar. Alt 1 hook verified. I'm not sure about using the image with this hook - 1) the hook is about flora, not fauna, and 2) we're not sure where the photo was taken. I think it's fine in the article, just a bit misleading with the hook. Thanks for this article, I hope the new government in Libya prioritizes conservation issues. • Sorry about the QPQ. It is done now. I wish some one who now visits Libya will take lots of pictures of wildlife. I could not find any img of wildlife in the park. Yes, the hook could be considered with out the img. Thanks.--Nvvchar. 02:03, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
