- The article body should state as explicitly as the intro does (and really, since it's the hook fact, it should be cited in the intro as well) that Waterhouse continues to direct the camp (Also, I would note, the cited source, the camp's website, doesn't say it quite so explicitly, instead noting that she shares "overseeing the running of the camp" with her extended family). And apart from that I would suggest some catchier phrasing:
- ALT1: ... that Elisabeth Waterhouse has been director of the National Chamber Music Course summer school since she founded it in 1974?
- Other than that, length, history and reference check out. Daniel Case (talk) 20:27, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for the review! English is not my native language, and I don't know how to say best what she does: run, inspire, direct, lead, oversee, - pick one. There is no other director, and I guess she likes democratic procedures, vs. being the boss, - at age 89. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:48, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

- Is this better?
- ALT0a: ... that Elisabeth Waterhouse founded the National Chamber Music Course summer school in 1974 and has managed it since? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:25, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- Yes. Daniel Case (talk) 18:41, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt and Daniel Case: maybe it's my violin instructor (Z"L) ingraining into me a strong dislike of the Suzuki method, but I'm not quite sure I'm on board with this hook – maybe it'd be one thing if the summer school were particularly notable or interesting, but it doesn't look like it even has a standalone article? Her work is admirable, but it doesn't seem to be particularly out of the ordinary from an outside perspective. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 09:06, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- I think to run whatever from 1974 until now is remarkable. I don't want to portrait her as the wife of a highly notable person, and the mother of a notable person. - The name of your violin instructor with the unclosed italics confuses the editor, which may go over the whole nom page, DYK? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:13, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- Funky, that doesn't happen on mobile. That's an honourific, by the way, not a name. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 01:44, 30 November 2022 (UTC)

- Courtesy ping to Daniel Case regarding the concerns raised above regarding the intriguingness of the hook fact. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 10:25, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
- I agree with Gerda that for someone to have been running an institution they founded almost 50 years ago is notable in and of itself. Very few people can say that, even in today's world. Daniel Case (talk) 18:01, 26 December 2022 (UTC)

- I’ve checked the sources and they confirm ALT0a so here’s a tick; this is good to go. Schwede66 15:12, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
