Emma Thompson

Emma Thompson

  • ... that Emma Thompson (pictured) is considered one of the greatest British actresses of her generation?

Improved to Good Article status by Dr. Blofeld (talk). Nominated by Matty.007 (talk) at 08:58, 3 April 2014 (UTC). Probably best to pick a hook which is factual rather than subjective.♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:26, 3 April 2014 (UTC)

  • Alt1 is more factual and supplies the proof of her notability Victuallers (talk) 14:47, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
  • ALT2 would be better

... that Emma Thompson (pictured) garnered dual Academy Award nominations in 1993 for performances in The Remains of the Day and In the Name of the Father? ♦ Dr. Blofeld 19:56, 3 April 2014 (UTC)

  • IMHO, the original hook is adequately sourced and is the catchiest and "hooky-est" hook. I will allow the nominators and first reviewer to sort this out, but I just am popping by because I noticed this. And because Emma Thompson seriously rocks! ;-) Montanabw(talk) 02:02, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
  • This newly promoted GA is new enough and long enough. All of the hooks are satisfactorily sourced and I'll leave it to the promoter to decide which to use. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 11:16, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

  • Are we saving this DYK for use on MainPage on her birthday, April 15th? --PFHLai (talk) 23:49, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
