Erwin Wickert
edit- ... that former German ambassador to China Erwin Wickert was an alumnus of Dickinson College of Carlisle, Pennsylvania?

- Article is big enough, and new enough. All paragraphs are cited. The whole is neutrally written. Hook comes in under 117 characters, and so is short enough. Copyright violation does not appear to be a problem. Hook is in article cited and confirmed by reference. Interesting enough that a German would be going to an American college. A QPQ was done, but I would expect on LavaBaron's return that it should be more thorough, mentioning all aspects to pass DYK. There has been a crackdown on DYK in the last month or so! - Graeme Bartlett - thanks for pointing this out; it's been so long since I've done a DYK review I forgot to check hook length. This is now fixed. LavaBaron (talk) 01:12, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- QPQ confirmed as satisfactory. Now good to go. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 01:35, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
