Expedition climbing
- ... that traditional expedition style climbing has been largely replaced by alpine style climbing for the leading Himalayan mountaineers?

- Comment: Expanded this 5x and only just finished it on 25 May 2024 - hopefully still ok (I didn't know about DYK until today!)

- @Aszx5000: Unfortunately I have to reject this, as it does not meet DYK criteria; the final edit was 24 May according to edit history and the DYK submission is 2 June (9 days). The DYK guidelines require a submission within 7 days. Regardless, thank you for the submission and I'm sorry I had to reject it. Kimikel (talk) 21:49, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Aszx5000 I'm going to close this in a moment, but before I do I just wanted to think you for the submission; unfortuntely, the timeliness rule is one which is hard to waive. My suggestion is to put in a little more work and get this up to WP:GA standards then submit it to WP:GAN. The other route to DYK eligibility is to get approved for GA, so once you've done that, come back here and resubmit. And if you do, I think File:Grace Tseng summit picture.jpg would make a much better image to go with it. RoySmith (talk) 23:20, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
