Flag of Barbados
- ... that the man who designed the flag of Barbados (pictured) also made the first several flags himself? Source: "Not only did he design the first flag but he is also credited with making the first flag after then Prime Minister Errol Walton Barrow sent him to the Cave Sheppard department store to choose fabrics in the identified colours. From these fabrics he actually made approximately seven flags."
- ALT1: ... that the man who designed the flag of Barbados (pictured) also made the first several flags himself out of fabric from a department store? Source: same as ALT0
- ALT2: ... that the broken trident on the flag of Barbados (pictured) represents the country's severed ties with the United Kingdom? Source: "The symbol in the centre panel is the Trident of the Mythical Sea God Neptune. This symbol appears in the Seal of the Colony which was replaced by the Barbados Coat of Arms. The shaft of the Trident is broken indicating Barbados' break with its historical and constitutional ties."
- ALT3: ... that the flag of Barbados (pictured) was first raised at midnight on 30 November 1966, the moment when the nation gained independence? Source: "Following prayers, Governor Sir John Stowe and then Premier Errol Barrow, took their place at the flag-staff just a few minutes before midnight for the historic flag raising ceremony. The Barbados flag was to be raised for the first time by Lieutenant (now Captain) Hartley Dottin"

5x expanded by PCN02WPS (talk). Self-nominated at 05:34, 5 July 2022 (UTC).
- I can verify that a 5x expansion has been done and no close paraphrasing was found. All the hooks are cited inline and verified, but I think ALT1 is the best option here due to its quirkiness. ALT2 is also solid, but I think the "fabric from a department store" fact is more surprising. I suggest dropping all other options. QPQ has been done and the image is usable. GTG.
