Flumezapine
edit... that flumezapine was at the center of a lawsuit against Eli Lilly by generic manufacturers to void its patent on the antipsychotic Zyprexa?Source: "Zenith Goldline Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Reddy’s Lab and Teva...collectively referred to as “DRL”...sought FDA approval to market generic olanzapine by filing an ANDA, which triggered an infringement action by Eli Lilly" and "DRL [generic manufacturers] challenged the validity of the ’382 patent by asserting that the claim for olanzapine was obvious to a skilled artisan based on the prior art known at the time of the invention, such as flumezapine..." - Date, size, refs, neutrality, copyvio spotcheck, passed. I had a pause thinking if 'heart of' expression is justified, but I think it is fine as a generalization. GTG. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:50, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but the hook seems to say the opposite of what the article says. The article says that Eli Lilly filed the lawsuit against the generic manufacturers. Please clarify. Yoninah (talk) 00:18, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
- I apologize for the poor wording on my part! I meant to convey that the lawsuit was between Lilly and the generic manufacturers, and that the "flumezapine argument" was part of the generic manufacturers' legal position. I've edited the lead of the article as well. Here are a few alternates:
- ALT1:
... that flumezapine was at the center of a legal argument against Eli Lilly by generic manufacturers to void its patent on the antipsychotic Zyprexa? - ALT2:
... that flumezapine was at the center of an argument against Eli Lilly in a lawsuit against generic manufacturers to void its patent on the antipsychotic Zyprexa? - ALT3: ... that flumezapine was at the center of a lawsuit filed by Eli Lilly against generic manufacturers who sought to void Lilly's patent on the antipsychotic Zyprexa?

- Thank you. I think ALT3 says it best; I tweaked the hook to show that Lilly filed the lawsuit. ALT3 verified and cited inline. Rest of review per Piotrus. ALT3 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 21:40, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
- I appreciate your time and effort, Yoninah. I support the revised ALT3. ―Biochemistry🙴❤ 23:30, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
