Flying Merkel

  • ... that the Flying Merkel (pictured) was painted in bright orange?

  • Nice wee article. Brand new, long enough. QPQ not required (only one DYK credit as yet). Two offline sources; no copyvio detected with the one online source. Hook fact AGF. The one thing that requires attention is the shaky English; it needs a copyedit by somebody who is more familiar with the language. Beyond that, a suggested improvement is to make use of the convert template so that our American friends get more out of this article (as they tend to think in miles per hour and cubic inches), but that aspect is not a necessity for DYK approval. • I just took a second look but only found a few very minor wording issues, now fixed. For motorcycles in the US, engine displacement is usually measured in cc, and the other units all appear to have the proper {{convert}} templates. So I think all the issues raised in the previous review have become cleared up, mostly thanks to Brianhe's edits one day after the previous review. Now good to go. —David Eppstein (talk) 00:18, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
