George Panu
edit- ... that Romanian politician George Panu lost his only chance to enter the cabinet, when Lascăr Catargiu died the same day he was named prime minister?
- ALT1:... that the main memoir about Romanian literary society Junimea was written by a man who became its bitter adversary, George Panu?
- ALT2:… that Romanian politician and journalist George Panu was sentenced to prison for insulting King Carol I, but escaped punishment by fleeing to Vienna and then being elected to parliament?

- Article is new (created September 22), evidently long enough, very well cited, attributed, neutrally voiced. Hooks are all within policy and cited in the article. I fully verified ALT1 and ALT2 from the print and online sources; I AGF on the original hook, which is also my favorite. QPQ done; images within policy. Great job filling a long-existing redlink.
