Guerra del Golfo (2016)

edit
  • Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Malator
  • Comment: A little poetic license but essentially true as Los Oficiales Elite's gimmick is that they are police officers and they did lose to three Exotico wrestlers who are essentially drag queens.

  • Not too happy with the amount of "poetic license" in this hook. It's one thing misleading on April Fools day, it's quite another for the rest of the year. WormTT(talk) 10:59, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
  • Change "beat up" to "defeated" and I'll be happy. WormTT(talk) 20:50, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
  • Really? defeated? So super litteral then, no room for anything other than the bare simple facts as a second opinion overturns the first opinion?  MPJ-US  21:14, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
  • I stick by the term "beat" check out this guy's face and tell me he was just pinned (warning bloody and graphic).  MPJ-US  22:12, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
  • @Worm That Turned: - So let's shift to something that (hopefully) is totally straightforward, neutral and cited in the article.  MPJ-US  16:00, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
  • Alt3=...that after losing a steel cage match to Cerebro Negro in the main event of the 2016 Guerra de Golfo, professional wrestler Astro was forced to take off his mask?
My issue with "beat up" was that it implies a fight outside the ring, whereas defeated focussed on the match. You're almost certainly right in that defeated isn't a strong enough word, but at least it focussed on the ring. No issues with Alt3, and it appears to be sourced (though the source appears to be a dead link, it's currently cached in Google). If you're happy with it, then I'm happy. I'm good. I will check on the source, it was working the other day so I'll figure out what's going on there.  MPJ-US  19:25, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
  • Link worked fine for me when I clicked on it MPJ-US  19:26, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
  • @Worm That Turned: - So this was pulled from the cue on April 23, new hook suggested April 24 but it's still just sitting here? Is the new hook good to go?  MPJ-US  22:54, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
Odd I never got that ping... Sorry, I completely forgot to put in the , Yes, this is good to go with ALT3. WormTT(talk) 09:44, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
