Harold Finger
- ... that during the 1960s, Harold Finger was in charge of the development of NASA's nuclear rocket and nuclear power systems, including generators left on the Moon by Project Apollo missions?
Source: "he was responsible for the development of the radioisotope power systems used to power instruments on the Moon in the Apollo program and in various deep space scientific missions and for the development of the nuclear rocket systems that demonstrated their capability for ultimate propulsion of very deep space robotic missions and also for ultimate human missions to Mars. - I'll come in here and give a review but I should say I rarely deal with BLPs (and it's nice this is a BLP!). The article has been expanded enough (easily) recently and is long enough. It's not been copied/pasted as far as I can tell and otherwise is OK policy-wise. It's well cited for verification. The hook is OK (but "left of the Moon" s/b "left on the Moon") and not too long. The hook is interesting rather than thrilling but Apollo gives it a boost. It seems accurate and cited in the article. QPQ done. His wife and daughters are cited to a source I don't have access to. The {{cn}} for his parents is probably better than a possibly unreliable source. Now, the sources look to me reliable but not so very independent from a notability point of view. I feel (rather strongly) he passes muster for notability and the references support this.
- I have a difficulty which I think may best be sorted before I give a final tick. The image (yes, I know you are not proposing it for the main page). How do we know Finger is there (and I am only guessing he is on the far left). To me it doesn't look much like here (which may be copyright anyway). But isn't this better anyway?
