  • Lots of detail, presented in a way that was easy to follow, in this timely GA article. New enough (submitted within one day of achieving GA), long enough, well sourced with inline citations. Earwig says copyvio unlikely; there are a limited number of matches mostly to do with the gameplay and plot. (There were a couple of places where the article used future tense, like "players will be able to" which probably pre-dated the game's release, and should be updated now that the game is available.) Balances multiple viewpoints regarding the J.K. Rowling-related controversy. No QPQ is required. So the question mark is regarding the hooks: ALT0 checks out. ALT1 feels slightly misleading in that the article actually says that while the soundtrack took inspiration from John Williams, the composers also tried to forge their own style. ALT2 really should use the word "concurrent" because that is what the source says regarding the record number of viewers. @Vestigium Leonis: Could you please take another look at ALT1 and ALT2...? (It really might just be a matter of changing a couple of words in each.) Cielquiparle (talk) 21:56, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
I rephrased ALT1 and ALT2. Let me know what you think about it.Vestigium Leonis (talk) 08:04, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
@Vestigium Leonis: ALT2 is better. It was just a little too wordy, so I've replaced "by garnering" with "with" above to shorten it. This leaves ALT1, which is definitely too wordy – "crafted to showcase" and "compositions of composer" are both unnecessarily clunky for a hook. One suggestion is to look at some of the *reviews* of the soundtrack itself, which may offer some choice quotes you could use in the hook; this is often the most attention-getting way to get "clicks" on entertainment-related articles (while maintaining the neutrality of "wikivoice"). So, for example, this GameRant review offers some possibilities like "... that Hogwarts Legacy was praised for making the player feel like the hero of the story "with just six notes"?" or any number of other quotes, but whatever you use in the hook must appear in the article as well. @Vestigium Leonis: Another tip is to check out WP:DYKSTATS – click around, and you'll see huge tables which show which DYK hooks perform well and which ones don't. I just mention this because this seems like a strong article deserving of lots of views, and plenty of potential for an attention-getting hook, and the past examples may trigger more ideas. Thanks for your input and sorry for the late reply, a bit too busy at the moment. I would like to revisit the sources to add more information about music at a later date and maybe add it to either release or reception section and just fixed the wording. I honestly preferred 0 and 2 anyways, but just wanted to give another option.Vestigium Leonis (talk) 13:49, 23 April 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for your review. What is the final step of the DYK process? I am fine with using either ALT0 or ALT2, but would probably lean to ALT2.Vestigium Leonis (talk) 13:49, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
Well, now we'll have to wait until someone promotes it to a Prep set. I've reviewed it so I can't promote it. Neither can Cielquiparle. It'll have to be someone else. BorgQueen (talk) 14:02, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
