Hollywood Women's Political Committee
- ... that the Hollywood Women's Political Committee formed in 1984 to help Geraldine Ferraro (pictured), the first U.S. woman vice presidential candidate from a major party? History.com wrote, "Ferraro became the first female vice presidential candidate to represent a major political party." Also, the Los Angeles Times wrote, "...Walter F. Mondale named a woman, Geraldine Ferraro, as his running mate. It was a call to arms. By August, [the HWPC] had a name and had filed organizational papers."
- ALT1:... that the Hollywood Women's Political Committee provided $6 million in political donations? The Nation wrote, "Over its thirteen-year history it dispersed $6 million to liberal, feminist, pro-choice, environmental and peace candidates."

- This article is new enough and long enough. The image is in the public domain, the hook facts are cited inline and either hook could be used, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:57, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
