- Comment: Renomination after article has passed GA a second time
Improved to Good Article status by Hawkeye7 (talk) Nominated by Hawkeye7 (talk) and Onegreatjoke (talk). at 04:24, 22 June 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Howard Florey; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- Article is a newly promoted good article and certainly long enough. I see no neutrality issues, all statements in the article are referenced to inline citations with reliable sources. Earwig returns some false positives but this is due to the use of quotations. Both hooks are good, I personally think ALT1 may be preferable to emphasise the benefits of penicillin for those who may not be aware. QPQ is done, all images used in the article are correctly licensed and the image used with the hook is quite striking, so it would be great to see it used. Thanks User:Hawkeye7 for your fantastic work in bringing this article up to scratch - when you have someone as prominent as Florey I can appreciate how difficult it is to bring together a multitude of sources into a single piece.
