  • -->New enough, long enough of an article, the article has been 5x expanded (at least), fits Wikipedia policy for neutrality and other issues, and the author has done a QPQ. The hook is the right length and interesting, but I don't know that it's completely accurate. It says that some inhabitants believe (present tense) and then the source is about what residents believeD (past tense) in 1586. I would change the wording of the hook slightly or find a more recent source to prove that inhabitants do still believe this. Also, I would fix the caption on the photo to say something like "Hualca Hualca volcano" or something instead of just "the mountain." After these changes I think it should be good to go. @Kmwebber: This source does support that it applied more recently, but since it explicitly refers to an anecdote ("When I was a child, my grandparents said we all descended from Hualca Hualca but no one believes that anymore. Really, the Majes Canal has changed all this.") I am not certain if that would work. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 22:21, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
@Jo-Jo Eumerus: I think that given that info it will be good to go. That was recent enough that I think it should be fine. It's such an interesting fact that I don't think it's worth it to stop the general public from knowing it because of a weird technicality. Given all this I think the whole thing is good to go! I went ahead and changed the caption. Kmwebber (talk) 23:41, 5 July 2017 (UTC)Kmwebber
