  • Review Date is good. New article. Length is good and substantial: 5976 6914 characters that count. 13,603 14,620 characters total. No plagiarism or close paraphrasing issues. Plagiarism checker gave it a clean bill. Reading of cited materials showed no "close paraphrasing." (I did not have full access to the JSTOR article that is listed under "Further reading", but given the submitter's credential I WP:AGF.) QPQ was done. Well researched submission. Multiple WP:RS support hook. Beautiful article, nicely illustrated. We should be using a picture for this on main page. All images are public domain or with permission. I did some minor cleanup and expansion of reference form, and am well satisfied on those issues. 7&6=thirteen () 20:28, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

???There is no tick here. What does all this mean???69.237.153.42 (talk) 22:05, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

It means I reviewed it. We are waiting for the DYK people to act on it. Was I supposed to do something? 7&6=thirteen () 22:15, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
7&6, you might want to add the {{subst:DYKtick}} temp, otherwise it doesn't show up as reviewed in the Template:Did you know/Queue chart, which is used by prep makers to find approved hooks. Templates love templates. The Interior (Talk) 06:20, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
