Japan National Route 339
- ... that a section of Japan National Route 339 on Cape Tappi is a staircase? Source: "338.2 meters of National Highway 339 in Aomori Prefecture, not a single car, truck, scooter, or motorcycle is allowed. Why? Because it’s actually a staircase" Preston Phro (25 July 2013). "National Highway 339: The only staircase highway in Japan". Retrieved 12 February 2020.

- Hugely expanded, long enough (absolutely no problem there....), cited, neutral and would be an interesting addition for DYK. Hooks is interesting and supported by reliable sources but not super exciting (although that is to be expected since most highways are known not to be exciting ). — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 20:07, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
