- Interesting life, on few but good sources, I can read the German but accept the Turkish AGF, no copyvio obvious. I'd mention "foreign" in the hook, and why not also "Jewish Turkish" which is MUCH more interesting than out usual "first female"?. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:04, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: Thank you very much for your review. I understand that your "?" refers to the lack of "Turkish-Jewish" . I propose following ALT1 accordingly. Please check. CeeGee 10:08, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

... that Turkish-Jewish Jenny Gusyk enrolled at the University of Cologne in Germany in 1919 as the first female student?CeeGee 10:08, 3 June 2020 (UTC)- Thank you, I think that's much more exceptional. I did not know! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:56, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't understand why
Turkish-Jewish
is important, and I wish you could suggest something other than a "first woman" hook. Yoninah (talk) 13:02, 5 June 2020 (UTC)- Do you want to turn it around, saying that the first woman enrolling at a German university was Turkish and Jewish, which both seem not the likely candidates? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:22, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
- Germans didn't hate Jews back in World War I. Turkey was a German ally. I just don't get the connection. Yoninah (talk) 13:27, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
- I'm only the reviewer, and try to take what the nominator suggests, just improve. Feel free to suggest something else, that's not the reviewer's job. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:52, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: I am sur you can suggest an ALT2 if you don't like the original hook and ALT1. I'd appreciate it. CeeGee 17:18, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
- ALT2: ... that the University of Cologne awards an annual gender equality prize in honor of Jenny Gusyk, who became the first woman and first foreign student when the school was re-established in 1919? Yoninah (talk) 18:55, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you Yoninah. @Gerda Arendt: Would you please take a time and review ALT2. Thanks also to you. CeeGee 05:50, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
- thank you, both, that gives even more weight to her achievements. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:12, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
