Either of these will work for me. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 03:09, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
Nice ideas but not really in the article (but in a newspaper header). Ready to review when that changes. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:50, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
@Gerda Arendt: Added a more specific reference to this in article text. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 22:26, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
Thank you, that reads much better. substantial well-sourced article, no copyvio obvious. I am not yet happy with hooks that are attractive but don't attract those interested. I think your best way would be to not say "Sexy" for the bold part but KSXY, which tells DYK regulars already it's a radio station, and perhaps pipe that sexy to adult music. I think the testing with wind sounds would be more unusual, but is not clear from the above wordings. But I'm sure you'll find someone (else) to approve a hook from above. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:15, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
I appreciate that. My problem is that radio station call signs have been attracting so few views that even generally compelling hooks sink the moment you put a call sign as the bolded item. In fact, June is the second month in 2022 so far where one of my hooks is going to bring up the rear in pageviews, and WBBP has had the second-worst views per hour of the entire year. The median views per hour for six non-calls hooks run in the last month is 307.1 — for the 53 call sign hooks, it's 109.8. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 07:02, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
I hear you, and have pity (and always thought opera singers were the heaven of unattractiveness if not pictured). I like the original, and perhaps you find someone to approve the click-collecting ones. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:06, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
