L.S. Alexander Gumby
edit- ... that L.S. Alexander Gumby complied 300 scrapbooks documenting African-American history, and was known as the "Great God Gumby"?

- Great hook, long enough, date verified, appears to be free of close paraphrase. Some questions: the number of scrapbooks is mentioned in the lead, but should also be mentioned in the scrapbooking section, since the lead is a summary of the body of the article. I'd like to get rid of the orphan tag: can Gumby be worked into the Harlem Renaissance article, perhaps as a historian of the times? Acroterion (talk) 12:38, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you, I'll make those changes. There is so much still to be written on the Harlem Renaissance! Gareth E Kegg (talk) 13:36, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- Looks good, a nice addition on a neglected subject. Acroterion (talk) 14:20, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
