Labor Congress of Liberia

edit

Created by Soman (talk). Self-nominated at 13:23, 19 August 2017 (UTC).

  • @Soman: New article, in time, long enough, sourced, QPQ done. Three things are needed. First, how about a hook about the strike that was put down by military police? Second, the article has five sections, yet each section only has a few sentences. Unless you want to expand each section, I would combine the first four sections (1951–1959) into one section with four paragraphs. Third, what do you mean by this sentence? "In 1959 LCL underwent a split, and the break-away Congress of Industrial Organizations." --Usernameunique (talk) 09:51, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
  • I've fixed the incomplete sentence now. As per ALT hooks, the door is open for suggestions. I disagree that the sections are too short, better to avoid having most of the article gathered in a single section. --Soman (talk) 15:53, 9 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks Soman. Still not sure about the sections, but that's more of a stylistic point than a DYK requirement. I'm approving ALT0, which checks out. However, I think you could come up with some more interesting ones, and again suggest coming up with some alternates (e.g., something about the strike that was put down by military police). --Usernameunique (talk) 20:09, 9 September 2017 (UTC)
