Lee Eun-soo
- ... that Lee Eun-soo, South Korea's first female general officer in the legal field, served as Judge Advocate General of the army? "Lee was commissioned as the first female judicial officer in 1991" (Korean Times) "2011 – 2012 Judge Advocate General, the Republic of Korea Army" (Barun Law)

- Article is new enough (created September 28) and long enough (prose is 2347 characters).
- Article is written in NPOV and contains sufficient inline citations.
- Earwig detects no copyvio problems.
- Hook is short enough, meets formatting guidelines, and is supported by an inline citation.
- While accurate and adequately sourced, the hook doesn't strike me as terribly riveting to a broad audience, though I understand it may be tough to come up with something more "hooky" on a subject like this. Do you have any ALT suggestions?
Article is almost good to go. Waiting on an answer to my question about a possible ALT, and QPQ needs to be done. Interesting and well written article overall! Armadillopteryxtalk 06:36, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Armadillopteryx thanks for your review, I'll get a QPQ sorted as soon as possible. I think the fact i found was the hookiest i could make, but I've put forward a few alternatives below. I appreciate these may not be all that hooky. I am happy to wothdraw this nomination if, in your opinion, they don't meet the threshold - Dumelow (talk) 08:32, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that Lee Eun-soo, South Korea's seventh female general, was head of the army's Human Rights Department?
- ALT2: ... that Lee Eun-soo was South Korea's seventh female general officer and the first in the legal branch?
- I think this is a tough subject to write a hook for, but the article is well done and certainly qualifies for DYK. I'm partial to the last hook you suggested; it's concise and presents two interesting facts that are more broad than in the other hooks, which could lose some of their impact on anyone who doesn't know at least a little about the judicial branch of the military.
- Good to go with ALT2 (as soon as QPQ is done)! Armadillopteryxtalk 19:19, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
