  • Hi, I came by to review, but first would like to clarify the dates. The article received GA status on August 23, but this nomination is on August 1. Was it 5x expanded on that date? Also, the hook starts talking about the subject and then moves to talking about someone else. Can you provide a hook more centered on the subject? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 20:08, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Yeah it was. Also given how long it has been. Simply acknowledging it is a GA is easier for reviewers. Alt hooks below. KAVEBEAR (talk) 20:32, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
  • ALT1 ... that Prince William Pitt Leleiohoku (pictured) ruled as regent of Hawaii while his brother King Kalākaua visited the United States in 1874–75?
  • ALT2 ... that Prince William Pitt Leleiohoku (pictured) formed the Kawaihau Glee Club, said to bea musical group which was composed of the "very purest and sweetest male voices to be found amongst the native Hawaiians"?
  • Thank you. 5x expansion verified. New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen in online sources. I snipped a few words out of ALT2, but it is definitely a good hook. Offline ALT2 hook refs AGF and cited inline. Image is freely licensed, as are the rest of the images in the article. QPQ done. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 20:58, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
I have on this occasion added the image and moved the hook to Prep3. I agree that it is a good clear image, but there are many more hooks nominated with images than there are image slots to accommodate them. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 11:04, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
