- Comment. Why is this written as if it's fact? I'm quite sure DYK nominations are not supposed to be presenting things as fact when they're not, or misleading readers simply to be "quirky" or "funny". Ss112 18:11, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Future and Drake did actually work at a McDonald’s for a day, which the source given clearly says. The first source also says right there in the headline “Future and Drake hold down odd jobs in Life Is Good video”, so once again no one is trying to tickle your funny bone. If you have an Alt to offer then do so. ⌚️ (talk) 20:44, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Can an alternate wording be proposed here that isn't easter eggy? Another possibility could be to go with ALT1, but change it something like:
- ALT3: ... that rappers Future and Drake worked at McDonald's for a day?" -- although that might be too much blue in this case. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 03:30, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
- Still, we're basically getting at the same thing there, are we not? (Yet somehow this was accepted?) But if that's really the only "issue" here then of course anybody can move words around for the sake of context–if that pleases the court. ⌚️ (talk) 23:33, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
- Let's avoid easter eggs. I like the newer blurb, maybe phrase it as

I have struck all but ALT3. I don't see a problem with linking the musicians' names and the rest of the hook, since the musicians may not be internationally known. Here is a full review: New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. ALT3 hook ref verified and cited inline. Image in article is fair use. QPQ done. ALT3 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 21:09, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
