Liimanarina
edit- ... that the band Liimanarina earned just over $1,000 in royalties on their album Spermarket?
- ALT1:... that record label Drag City signed Finnish group Liimanarina in the 1990s and paid the band just over $1,000 in royalties?
- ALT2:... that the band Liimanarina take their name from a Finnish word for "glue" and the creaking sound a door makes when it's opened?

- Article is new enough and long enough. However, I have major concerns about the referencing. Most troublingly, there are 4 citations to http://www.robotinpoikanen.com/, which appears to be the drummer's blog and I'm not sure it qualifies as a WP:RS for DYK purposes. Most of the hooks are sourced to it, in the article. Footnote 1, for the band being AKA "Liima Fuckin' Narina", is just a link to a picture of a poster. Where is the poster from? How do we know the use of "fuckin'" is actually an alternate name and not just stylization on the poster? I'd prefer a better source. Footnote 7 is to a Chinese-English web dictionary, so that's right out (in fact, I'm about to go strip it from the article). Footnote 15, re: Matlock, is pure speculation and either needs removing or sourcing. The article needs serious work on referencing before it is ready for DYK.
- I rather like ALT2, and the source for it in the article does check out, for what that's worth. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 09:18, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- Glad you liked ALT2 PMC. I've removed the most questionable references from www.robotinpoikanen.com. The others happen to be where other referential materials are stored online, such as letters and royalty statements. I also removed the band's alias, though I have seen it in several places under various spellings and the flyer seemed to be the most substantial source. It's been removed from the article. Further research reveals that the Matlock references is actually a Simpsons quote with substantial documentation online. Morganfitzp (talk) 23:08, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
- revamped article looks good to me! I added a source for the thing I put a CN tag on last time (easier than I thought), so the remaining sourcing issues are dealt with. Should be good to go :) ♠PMC♠ (talk) 21:43, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
