Lil Tay

- Article is new and long enough, referenced and neutral. Earwig only flags a quote which isn't a concern; hook is cited and interesting, and QPQ is not needed since nominator has not nominated over five articles yet for DYK. Good to go! Tails Wx (they/them) 06:39, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- @TDKR Chicago 101 and Tails Wx: I see the part of the hook about flexing in the lead but it is not cited. All facts in the hook must be cited no later than the end of the sentence - preferably in the body. 2600:1008:B117:4EDC:B165:93A7:92F9:9A7B (talk) 03:53, 15 August 2023 (UTC)

@TDKR Chicago 101, Tails Wx, and Bruxton: I've pulled this per my questions at the DYK noticeboard. Do ping me when changes have been made, I'll put this back in prep myself. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 06:51, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Theleekycauldron: I was not clear on what is specifically needed based on your message on DYK talk. Bruxton (talk) 13:46, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Theleekycauldron: Agreed, not sure what the specific issues are? I already expanded the lead and the article is well sourced. I thought TMZ was a generally accepted source by Wiki. Not to mention most of the TMZ/Insider sources used is to back up statements in the article where TMZ/Insider are directly referenced. TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 13:58, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Theleekycauldron: & @Bruxton:: Is this hook/article good or not? TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 21:31, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
- TMZ is absolutely not the kind of source that we want to use on a biography of a living minor. Insider is marginally/situationally reliable, I'll have to read into the exact coverage here to figure out where it falls on the balance. I also still don't know what the hook means. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 10:10, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

- @TDKR Chicago 101: Are you still planning to pursue this nomination? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 10:53, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
- No response from the nominator to the ping, and given the article issues and the lack of progress it may be time to close this as unsuccessful. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 02:23, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
