Lindbergh Beacon (Los Angeles)
edit- ...that in 1928 Calvin Coolidge activated the Lindbergh Beacon (pictured) atop Los Angeles City Hall by telegraph signal?
- ALT1:...that the Lindbergh Beacon (pictured) atop Los Angeles City Hall was deactivated after the attack on Pearl Harbor and not fully restored and reactivated until 2001?

- This article is new enough and long enough. Either hook could be used as the hook facts are cited inline. The future tense is used in the quotation for the original hook but I do not think this invalidates the claim. The image is suitably licensed, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:30, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
