Lion (2016 film)

edit

Created by Captain Assassin! (talk). Self-nominated at 02:41, 4 March 2016 (UTC).

  • New enough. Checks for copyvio reveals no problems (e.g. [1], just hits for names and titles). All non-lead ¶ have inline citations. Matters that need to be addressed are listed below. North America1000 12:17, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Not long enough – presently at 1,453 characters (the list in the cast section is not counted as prose)
  • QPQ review needs to be performed
  • The film being the directorial debut of Garth Davis is not stated or cited in the article.
  • The ALT1 hook would be improved by stating "... is based on the book A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley..." As worded, the book's title could be misunderstood to be Lion.
  • @Northamerica1000: Please take a look at the article again. First hook is verified in the article now, the second hook is rephrased, and QPQ's done. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 17:59, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Good to go. Article is long enough, hook and alt is backed with a citation to a reliable source in the article ([2]), QPQ done, checks for copyvio after article expansion reveals no problems (e.g. [3]). North America1000 21:08, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Sorry, @Captain Assassin!: you cannot approve your own nomination. Could another reviewer look at ALT2? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 12:01, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Happy to approve Alt2; the review of the rest of the article is on the basis of North America's review. Miyagawa (talk) 11:59, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
