Lion (2016 film)
edit... that the upcoming film Lion is the directorial debut by Garth Davis?
- ALT1:
... that the Garth Davis' directorial debut film Lion is based on the Saroo Brierley's book A Long Way Home about his real-life experiences? - Reviewed:

- New enough. Checks for copyvio reveals no problems (e.g. [1], just hits for names and titles). All non-lead ¶ have inline citations. Matters that need to be addressed are listed below. North America1000 12:17, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
- Not long enough – presently at 1,453 characters (the list in the cast section is not counted as prose)
- QPQ review needs to be performed
- The film being the directorial debut of Garth Davis is not stated or cited in the article.
- The ALT1 hook would be improved by stating "... is based on the book A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley..." As worded, the book's title could be misunderstood to be Lion.
- @Northamerica1000: Please take a look at the article again. First hook is verified in the article now, the second hook is rephrased, and QPQ's done. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 17:59, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
- Good to go. Article is long enough, hook and alt is backed with a citation to a reliable source in the article ([2]), QPQ done, checks for copyvio after article expansion reveals no problems (e.g. [3]). North America1000 21:08, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
- You could do so much more with this.
- ALT2: ... that Garth Davis' directorial debut, Lion, recounts the true story of a lost Indian boy who found his birth parents using Google Earth? Yoninah (talk) 17:05, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah sure, ALT2 looks better. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 02:37, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
- Restoring tick on behalf of Northamerica1000. Thanks for your time everyone. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 02:57, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, @Captain Assassin!: you cannot approve your own nomination. Could another reviewer look at ALT2? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 12:01, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
