Little brown bat

edit
  • ... that the little brown bat's offspring weighs nearly a third of its mother's weight at birth? Source: "The young are functionally altricial at birth, but they are extremely large, weighing 30% of the mother's postpartum mass" Kurta et al. 1989

Interesting good article, on excellent sources, JSTOR and others accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I like the first hook best, but the others are also fine. Perhaps go over the article once more, checking for clarity what "it" means. (Example: one sentence says "offspring", the next begins with "it", and I am not sure it's offspring, could be the bat in general.
@Gerda Arendt: thanks for the feedback! I haven't addressed your comment yet, but am hoping to later today. Holidays are so busy! Enwebb (talk) 16:50, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
No rush, take your time. This is no article which has to appear a certain day. Enjoy the holidays! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:15, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
@Gerda Arendt: I went through and tried to ensure that my pronouns were clear (I think the specific instance you were referring to was in the lead). Let me know if there are other issues to address. Enwebb (talk) 00:04, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Fine, thank you! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:50, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
