- Comment: 7 days since created, we now have reports the ship has sunk. The situation may change slightly, but I wanted to get the nom in before the window lapsed. I think this is an important article for DYK.

- New enough, long enough and within policy. The hook is interesting and supported by an inline citation to a reliable news source. QPQ done. No image. It should be good to go. The only small concern I have is that it is on a very recent subject and may change substantially before being promoted.
