Marguerite Alibert
edit- ... that Marguerite Alibert killed her husband after watching The Merry Widow with him? Source: On 9th July the Fahmys, along with their male secretary, Said Enani, went out in the evening to the operetta The Merry Widow (an ironic choice, given the subsequent events), returned to the Savoy and argued violently (yet again). At 2:30 a.m. ... Marguerite Fahmy aimed her pistol at her husband and shot three times... He was taken to Charing Cross Hospital but was dead within an hour.
