Marni Hodgkin

edit
  • ... that the children's book editor Marni Hodgkin was the daughter and wife of Nobel Prize winners?

  • Long enough, new enough. At a glance, no copyright/paraphrasing issues. QPQ needed? (Not sure if you've had 5 DYK credits already.) References are a bit unclear. The sentence that states she was Rous's daughter mentions several facts, not all of which are in the referenced NNDB page on Hodgkin. The NNDB page for Rous seems a better source for the fact that she's his daughter, given that the sentence doesn't even mention Hodgkin. And maybe cite the Guardian article for the "eldest of three daughters" part. Also not clear where the information that she met Hodgkin while he was working at the Rockefeller Institute is coming from. Hook-wise, why not name and link both laureates as well?

  • QPQ done. All other issues addressed and a bit more from the Independent obit added. Edwardx (talk) 09:40, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
  • Looks good, verified that all issues addressed. What do you think of the alt hook I suggested? (I've now struck out the original, which I forgot to do at first.) If you're cool with it, then we just need another reviewer to approve it and this should be good to go. --diff (talk) 02:43, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
  • New reviewer needed to check ALT1 hook. Everything else good. Note: This is my first review so feel free to give a second opinion. --diff (talk) 02:43, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
  • It's unclear to me how two obituaries at the time of her death make her notable. Yoninah (talk) 21:58, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
  • With full obituaries in The Guardian and The Independent (both meet WP:RS), she surely meets WP:GNG. Edwardx (talk) 22:18, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
  • I added a few book sources from before 2015. ALT1 hook refs verified and cited inline. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 23:22, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
