Mic Drop (song)
- ... that BTS's song "Mic Drop" was inspired by former US president Barack Obama's mic drop at his last White House Correspondents' Dinner in 2016? [1][2]

- @Ashleyyoursmile: This is a great hook and a good looking article but unfortunately it appears to fall short of a fivefold expansion. Prior to your first edit on 21 July, I count the article's readable prose as 5,776 characters. Currently, I count it as 19,830 characters. I see you've nominated it for GA – perhaps you can renominate for DYK once it has been promoted to GA? 97198 (talk) 12:30, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- 97198, My bad for not noticing the prose count before nominating. I will take your suggestion and renominate it after its gets the GA tag. Thank you for the review. You can close this nomination. :)Ashleyyoursmile! 16:47, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

- 97198, this passed GA today. I see that this nomination still appears under the DYK nominations awaiting approval. Can you suggest how this could be renominated? Ashleyyoursmile! 18:05, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Ashleyyoursmile: well, you're in luck that the template was never closed. If it had been, you would have re-nominated under a different name, like Template:Did you know nominations/Mic Drop (song) 2 or something like that. Meanwhile, this nom is ready for a new review as a GA. Yoninah (talk) 09:56, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
- That's wonderful. Yoninah, thank you so much for your help. :) Ashleyyoursmile! 10:15, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
