Mohamed Nagy Museum

edit
  • ... that Nagy's famous painting Egyptian Revival, which had been earlier displayed in the Paris Salon and honored for it with gold medal, is housed in the Mohamed Nagy Museum?

  • This article qualifies for DYK in regard to length and newness. In other ways it is unsatisfactory. The lead paragraph and the only other paragraph carry substantially the same content which is largely padding and is inappropriate in such a short article. The prose is in need of attention, but the worst thing is that the wikilink for the supposedly famous artist leads to a footballer, including the wikilink here in the hook. If he is famous, you should be able to at least write a stub article about him. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:10, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
  • @Cwmhiraeth: Sorry about this mistake in wikilink. I have created a separate article for Nagy and will be posting it on DYK. However, the museum article itself lacks information. I have made some corrections but it may not be adequate to remove the impression of an overlap. I am looking for some sources in Arabic and will come back soon with my final reply shortly. • @Cwmhiraeth: After editing the article has 1575 ch. I could not find any more text to add inspite of extensive search.Nvvchar. 05:54, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
  • Some alterations have been made to the article and it now meets DYK requirements. It is neutral and does not contain policy issues, and a new article has been written about the artist. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:13, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
