Nicola Mendelsohn
edit... that Facebook vice president Nicola Mendelsohn (pictured) works only four days a week?
- ALT1 (Alt1 needs approving):
... that Facebook's most senior employee outside the USA is vice president Nicola Mendelsohn (pictured)?
Created by Yoninah (talk). Self-nominated at 00:58, 27 November 2015 (UTC).
- I added a pic and I have added an alt - Can I suggest that this would be a good inclusion for Ada Lovelace's birthday on Dec 10th if it can be ticked in time Victuallers (talk) 14:26, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
- I checked the hook refs, it's new enough and long enough and it's neutral. I spotted no close paraphrasing. The image is free (I cropped and prettied it). Both main hook and articles are long enough and she is notable. Nice work. Could someone tick the alt please? Victuallers (talk) 15:27, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
- Saying "X is Y" is not so hooky. How about:
- ALT2: ... that The Telegraph has called Nicola Mendelsohn (pictured), Facebook's vice president for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, "the most powerful woman in the British tech industry"?
- ALT3:
... that Facebook vice president Nicola Mendelsohn (pictured) is a Commander of the Order of the British Empire while her husband is a baron?Yoninah (talk) 19:40, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
- I have confirmed the fact for ALT2 and the two facts for ALT3, but would prefer to strike "while her husband is a baron" if using ALT3. My personal preference would be for ALT2. Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 03:22, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your review, @Mary Mark Ockerbloom:. On your suggestion, I am striking all the hooks other than ALT2, in the hope that this will be suitable for our Ada Lovelace Day sets on December 10. Yoninah (talk) 18:17, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
