... that 50 million trees could be planted to form the Northern Forest in England? A central component of the vision is to plant 50 million new trees over the next 25 years
- ALT1:... that in January 2018 the British government provided initial funding for the proposed Northern Forest? Plans to create a new Northern Forest stretching from Liverpool to Hull have been kick-started by the government. It is providing £5.7m to increase tree cover along a belt spanning Manchester, Leeds and Bradford.

New enough, long enough, meets core content policies. Hooks cited to RS. GTG for both hooks, but I don't really see the appeal of ALT1; governments fund programs all the time. ALT0 is interesting, anyway. Jakob (talk) 13:54, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
