- Article is long enough and was recently expanded 5x. As far as I can tell, the nominator has already had 5 DYK nominations, so a QPQ review requirement still needs to be met. And while the hook is appropriately cited in the article, it really doesn't seem "hook-y" - it's essentially just a definition of the subject (X is Y).--Slon02 (talk) 20:00, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

- @John P. Sadowski (NIOSH): Looks good. However, you need to cite the two sentences in the article that deal with miners' health—even if the citation at the end of the paragraph covers them, it needs to be repeated at the end of those two sentences. See Rule 3b: "Each fact in the hook must be supported in the article by at least one inline citation to a reliable source, appearing no later than the end of the sentence(s) offering that fact.
