... that Otis Barrett introduced Artocarpus integer, claimed to be superior to jackfruit, to Puerto Rico? "Artocarpus polyphemia (A. champenden) , a relative of the Jackfruit but said to be far superior to the latte. It was introduced into Puerto Rico some years ago by Mr O.W. Barrett." from: Canal (Panama), Panama (1924). Annual Report of the Canal Zone Plant Introduction Gardens. p. 41.. Note that Artocarpus integer is the modern name for this species
