Philipp Meyer (politician)
edit- ... that in 1953 Philipp Meyer became the first former Nazi Kreisleiter elected to the West German Bundestag?
- ALT1:... that former Nazi Kreisleiter Philipp Meyer was sentenced to death by a SS drumhead court-martial in 1945 and elected to the West German Bundestag in 1953?

- Article is new enough, having been created on 27 March and nominated the next day. At around 1630 characters the article is just over the minimum limit. It is neutral, cites its sources and is free of copyvios. As for the hook: the format is correct, it is cited directly, neutral, and interesting as well. The only issue I have is that in the source it says first active Kreisleiter. Because of that wording it seems to imply there were non-active Kreisleiters who became Bundestag members as well. QPQ done. Crispulop (talk) 21:37, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
- It's a good point but I don't know the answer to your question. Kreisleiter was a position in the Nazi hierarchy so, after 1945 when Meyer was elected to the Bundestag, there were no more active Kreisleiter anymore. I don't know what the Der Spiegel source means with active but, if desired, the word could be added to the hook. Calistemon (talk) 23:59, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
