Physics Physique физика
- ... that physicist John Bell published the theorem that now bears his name in a journal sometimes called by the unusual title Physics Physique физика? Source: "Physics Physique физика, also known as various punctuations of Physics, Physique, Fizika and as Physics for short, was a scientific journal published from 1964 through 1968." [1] "It is best known for publishing John Stewart Bell's paper on the result now known as Bell's theorem." ([2][3])
- ALT1:... that physicist John Clauser discovered Bell's theorem because the journal that printed it bore the unusual title Physics Physique физика? Source: "In 1967, the unusual title caught the attention of John Clauser, who then discovered Bell's paper and began to consider how to perform a Bell test experiment in the laboratory." ([4])

- I ran into Bell's paper in this journal while copyediting an article over at the WikiJournal of Science. Very neat! Article is new enough (created and built out between Feb 11–14), long enough (1,746 characters), well-cited, neutral with regards to living people (also dead people), and free from copyvio concerns. Both hooks are sufficiently short and cited in the article and in the sources they refer to. I like ALT1 more than ALT0 but both are solid. I'm fine with the usage of the word "unusual" which might be read as subjective because it's a paraphrasing of "strange" as used in the Scientific American piece. No image to worry about. QPQ not done—is this only your third DYK nomination, XOR'easter? —Collint c 02:33, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
- I guess it is only my third — and I might have said it was only my second, since I'd almost entirely forgotten that prime number was listed here after I helped get it to GA. I wrote a brief review of a DYK nom earlier today while I had the page open. XOR'easter (talk) 04:02, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
- In that case, even though you didn't have to, QPQ done. Hooks are good to go with a strong preference for ALT1. Great work! —Collint c 22:55, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
