Piotrków Trybunalski Ghetto
edit- ... that Piotrków Trybunalski Ghetto (synagogue pictured), created only 38 days after the invasion of Poland in World War II, was the first Jewish ghetto in occupied Europe?
- Reviewed: Simone Osborne
- Comment: Where I live it's five days since creation for the next 3 hours. Thanks.

- As far as I can see, the ghetto was the first in occupied Poland, but I see nothing in the article or sources about being the first in occupied Europe. Since Poland was the first country to be invaded, this may be so, but to make the latter claim, I think the fact needs to be spelled out fully and cited. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 14:05, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
- Done Thanks for the attention to detail Cwmhiraeth. I added citation from Yad Vashem stating explicitly that Piotrków Trybunalski Ghetto was 'the first Ghetto in Nazi Europe.' [1] Looking forward to a follow-up. — Poeticbent talk 15:08, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
- This article is both long enough and new enough. The hook fact is now cited to a reliable source and I detected no policy issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:06, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
