- Length, date, everything else checks out, and AGF on offline source, but the thing that holds me up is the mention in the article that Hoshikawa may not have died in this manner, but rather that it was a literary device used by the chroniclers. Perhaps the hook should have the caveat ALT1: ... that according to the Nihon Shoki, the claimant to the throne in the Prince Hoshikawa Rebellion was burned in the treasury?
