Project Harvest Moon
edit... that in 1971, private citizens wished to use NASA Saturn V rockets, leftover from Apollo 17, to return to the moon and gather moon rocks for sale to the public?Source: Brand, David. "There is a plan afoot to sell moon rocks for millions. To you." Wall Street Journal. June 28, 1971.

... that Project Harvest Moon was formed in 1971 to commercialize space by using surplus Apollo hardware?Source: Brand, David. "There is a plan afoot to sell moon rocks for millions. To you." Wall Street Journal. June 28, 1971. ++Lar: t/c 17:26, 30 August 2018 (UTC)
- ALT1
- The ALT sounds fine to me. I didn't understand the link requirement. Anobium625 (talk) 22:17, 30 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Anobium625: the name of the article has to be linked in the hook, or piped (e.g. by saying "[[Project Harvest Moon|a project]]". If you're happy with the ALT1, we'll go with that.
- Here is a full review: New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen in online sources. Hook is interesting and hook ref is verified and cited inline. No QPQ needed for nominator with less than 5 DYK credits. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 13:43, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- I'm wondering if the hook could be made hookier, as:
- ALT2:
... that Project Harvest Moon was formed in 1971 to commercialize space by selling moon rocks to pay for further lunar experiments?Yoninah (talk) 13:52, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, Yoninah, I like ALT2 and would like to go forward with it. Thank you. Anobium625 (talk) 17:26, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you. Since I wrote the hook, we need another reviewer for ALT2. Yoninah (talk) 17:29, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- The article does not say that the project was formed in 1971, only that it was publicized in that year. However, I would recommend cutting that fact for a snappier hook: ALT3: ... that Project Harvest Moon intended to commercialize space by selling moon rocks to pay for further lunar experiments?
- The citation about how it would commercialize space did not appear at the end of the relevant sentence, but I have fixed that. Kim Post (talk) 19:23, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
- I see your point, and your hook solves the difficulty. Hope going on with it will not require another review. :) Anobium625 (talk) 20:09, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
