edit- ... that flying fox teeth are used as currency in the Solomon Islands? Source: "Traditional currencies on Makira are shell money, dolphin teeth, and canines of flying foxes and domestic dogs." Lavery & Tyrone 2017
Improved to Good Article status by Enwebb (talk). Self-nominated at 22:22, 17 July 2018 (UTC).
- Article was promoted to GA status within the last seven days, is more than long enough and has no copyvio issues. The Solomon Islands don't seem to be directly mentioned in the article in regards to the hook though, maybe include them after Makira to indicate what nation the island is part of? User is exempt from a QPQ review as this is their second nomination. Kosack (talk) 18:12, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
- Good catch! I have revised the article to reflect that Makira is part of the Solomon Islands. Enwebb (talk) 19:02, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reminder @BlueMoonset:. Apologies for the delay in promoting this, slipped off my radar for some reason. The fact is directly mentioned in the article now, good to go. Kosack (talk) 06:07, 14 August 2018 (UTC)
