Punta Brava, Quentin Bandera
edit( Back to T:TDYK )

- ... that Punta Brava, Cuba, has been the site of a number of notable deaths, including those of Antonio Maceo Grajales (1896) and Quentin Bandera (1906)?
- Comment: ALT: ... that Fidel Castro's father participated in the killing of Cuban general Antonio Maceo Grajales during the Cuban War of Independence at Punta Brava, Cuba? What I'm trying to get in here is that Castro's father helped kill the man, and Castro himself hailed the dead man as a hero--but I don't think I have enough room in the hook.

- I hope someone gets to this--it's been here for two weeks. As it happens, perhaps this is an indication that we need to run this on 7 December, the day Maceo got killed. Perhaps that might lead to a hook with the general, Castro, and Castro's father (so, Castro and his father walk into a bar in Punta Brava...). Drmies (talk) 16:06, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
- Everything looks ok to me. I think the naked hanging is a more interesting fact from Punta Brava, but I can't see how that can be worked into a double hook. I might be able to think up a better hook in a few hours... SmartSE (talk) 18:16, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
