- Comment: Note to potential reviewers: Don't worry. You only need to review the hook(s) most interesting to you. Also, feel free to sub the maps for the gate if you think they're sufficiently legible.

- Chinese person here, I will be reviewing this article. It may take a while, but I think I'm up for tackling all these hooks. I think ALT0 is the best hook, though. I hope you don't mind, but I changed it a little by adding a few links. epicgenius (talk) 19:13, 30 December 2017 (UTC)

- Thank you for your time. 新年快乐!
- With respect, I know you meant well, but there's an entire article on the metro station, which is linked; there are photographs of the station in the article; and that section has nothing to do with any the hooks. This is an example of a time to WP:IGNORE that bit of policy WP:CREEP, because it's not doing anything constructive here. If you really feel it's necessary for the good of the encyclopedia (it's not), kindly add an English or Chinese source yourself. If you really feel it's necessary to the review (it's not) but refuse to add it yourself (I wouldn't either), just delete the entire section to remove the "problem" and someone can add it back after the nomination's over. (You see how needless and counterproductive that is, right?)
- We aren't doing GOODARTICLEs here; the policy exists to keep patently untrue things from going to the front page, esp. for biographies of living people (where you do have to follow all the rules extra carefully). There's no source for the local dialect being Cantonese either; it's just patently true and you didn't notice/care because it happened to be in a paragraph with a different cited fact. Is it helpful to just delete those links from the article?
- Lapa Island also has nothing to do with the hooks, but I fixed that link and added the modern Chinese name. It's perfectly clear what "the last five years" means since it only has one meaning, but rephrased since it will soon be inaccurate. Did you like this picture best out of all the ones in the article?
- Also, I know you meant well, but you should never add links to a hook. They only siphon off views from the article the nominator worked on, and those views are the only reason to do a DYK in the first place. — LlywelynII 03:17, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
- 谢谢。 你也是。 I suppose there's a few replies I'm obligated to write:
- For the Cantonese statement, you're talking about a WP:BLUE situation (as in, a citation for something that is obvious), so I purposely did not include that. I agree that the transport issue is also a WP:BLUE situation. I'm just stating that someone may add {{citation needed}} or remove that section entirely, but I personally will leave it.
- I appreciate you fixing the "Lapa Island" link and clarifying "the last five years". I do think that the current picture is the best compared to the other ones in the article. File:Ville et Port de Macao.png is more focused on Macau.
- I have noted your preference to not include other links to the hook.
- This article is good to go. epicgenius (talk) 13:07, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
