R.N. Kao: Gentleman Spymaster
- ... that the first book about India's first chief of R&AW was written in 2019? Source: "To write the first full-fledged book on Kao, Gokhale made it a point to...", The examination of the life and deeds of the founder of the Research and Analysis Wing
- ALT1:... that the first full-fledged book about India's first intelligence chief of R&AW was only written in 2019? Source: "To write the first full-fledged book on Kao, Gokhale made it a point to..."
- ALT2:... that the book Gentleman Spymaster is about India's first external intelligence chief?
- ALT3:... that RN Kao had forewarned Indira Gandhi and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman before their assassinations? Kao had warned Sheikh Mujib-ur-Rehman against conspiracies against him and had advised precautions to be taken for Indira Gandhi’s security, the latter in his avatar as security adviser after 1980. Both leaders did not heed his cautions.
- ALT4:... that the book launches of Gentleman Spymaster were attended by the Army Chief, the Army Chief designate and a former R&AW chief?

- article new enough, long enough. Reads neutral. A couple close wording to sources as flagged by Earwig's, however it's either (1) cited, or (2) relates to longer titles ("chief of India's external intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW)" doesn't seem to be an issue).
- I prefer ALT3, and ALT2 as a second choice.
- Looks good, pending review by DiplomatTesterMan. = paul2520 (talk) 18:08, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
