Rhode Makoumbou and some of her sculptures

... that Congolese artist Rhode Makoumbou sculpts figures out of sawdust and woodglue, some of which are up to 3 metres (9.8 ft) tall? Depuis 2002, Rhode Makoumbou a créé de nombreuses sculptures en matière composée (sciure et colle à bois sur une structure métallique) représentant les métiers des villages qui tendent à disparaître. Certaines ont plus de trois mètres de haut!

Article was created and nominated within the required time, and is of adequate size and sufficiently sourced. AGF on non-English sources. Picture is claimed as owned by the subject and released under an appropriate license (however at DYK scale may not be sufficiently legible).
