Ring of modular forms, Stacky curve

( Article history links: )
... that rings of modular forms appear in the algebraic structure of gauge theories with certain supersymmetries in string theory?" Using these characterizations, it is straightforward to prove that... Γ(2) is the stabilizer of all three superpotentials... these two elements are also generators of the full ring of modular form" from p. 11 of Bourget, Antoine; Troost, Jan (2017). "Permutations of massive vacua" (PDF). Journal of High Energy Physics. 2017 (42). doi:10.1007/JHEP05(2017)042. ISSN 1029-8479.- ALT1:... that rings of modular forms are stacky thanks to GAGA? "using a generalization of the GAGA principle... there is an equivalence of categories between orbifold curves and log stacky curves..." on p. 1 of Landesman, Aaron; Ruhm, Peter; Zhang, Robin. "Spin canonical rings of log stacky curves". Annales de l'Institut Fourier. 66 (6): 2339–2383. arXiv:1507.02643. doi:10.5802/aif.3065.

- Comment: ALT1 is more of a fun hook that's nonsensical at first glance because of the amusing terminology.

- Article is new enough, long enough, and well referenced. Both hooks are interesting (especially ALT1) and are supported by inline citations. No copyvio found. QPQ not required. AGF for paywalled sources and for the math that's way above my pay grade. Good to go. -Zanhe (talk) 08:32, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Zanhe: I just created the article stacky curve which was a redirect at the time of your review. Mind if I bold it in for ALT1 if we use that hook? — MarkH21 (talk) 09:38, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
