- This article was created by the nominators but qualifies for DYK as a five-fold expansion. It is new enough and I like the caricature image, which is in the public domain. Approving the original hook, the facts for which are cited inline. Not approving ALT1 as it is not clear what precisely is meant by hermaphrodites here and the source does not help, also the article on his co-researcher Samuel Jean de Pozzi does not mention the subject. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues (except the sentence I rephrased). Cwmhiraeth 13:22, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
